Hello I'm John Taylor a full time photographer and videographer based in south west England just south of the Cotswolds and outside the beautiful city of Bath, UK.
I captured my first wedding in 2018 and I absolutely loved it and haven't looked back after 10 years experience in and around film and commercial production (which was often very repetitive) I quickly became addicted to the buzz of weddings, one take and capturing real moments and stories that are meaningful and beautiful. This addiction led me to start my own independent journey through John Taylor Films, my passion for film making and photography has only grown and I am so grateful to have what I love doing as my job.
I love to let moments unfold and develop naturally and provide direction when required. I use high end Sony mirrorless cameras for photography and videography. This allows me to keep my gear lightweight whilst still offering video capture in stunning 4k UHD definition. I am personable and friendly, will say hello and interact with your guests and I'll hope to blend in like one of them.
When I'm not shooting film for work I can usually be found picking up a camera or my phone to capture photos and videos of my family life, I love being active and getting outside to enjoy the beautiful countryside that I am very fortunate to live amongst.
